Lake Greenleaf Oklahoma

Greenleaf was on the edge of the “Wild West” and the Dalton Gang frequently passed through. Frontiersman Kit Carson made stops here on his way west. Sam Houston lived in the area for three years before he made his way to Texas and the history books.

Lake Greenleaf offers a beautiful setting, which offers many family activities that would fulfill a two-week vacation.

Cabins (some with fireplace), 5 camping areas, 178 campsites, assigned campground, community building, nature center, year-round naturalist & recreational programming, hiking & biking trails, swimming beach & pool, boating, heated fishing dock, paddleboating, mini-golf, floating restaurant, marina with kayak, canoe, paddleboat, party barge, and fishing boat rentals, amphitheater, kids fishing pond (stocked with trout during winter season), game room, laundromat, picnic shelters, enclosed shelter, low ropes course, TV/VCR rentals, hayrides and campfire programs, playgrounds, and Park Ranger security.

GREENLEAF STATE PARK

Greenleaf State Park is one of Oklahoma’s most beautiful state parks, featuring a 930 acre, sparkling blue lake, cozy stone cabins and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting for a restful, memorable vacation.

One of Oklahoma’s first seven state parks, the lake, cabins and other facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The original buildings, constructed of native stone, remain a lasting and beautiful tribute to the young men who build them.
