Women’s Bassmaster Tour Co-Angler Denese Freeman sends us this report from Lake Elmer Thomas:

In April of this year, I won the Lake Lewisville event and was awarded a $25,000 Skeeter bass boat complete with Lowrance electronics and a MotorGuide trolling motor. This boat has become an excellent tool for me to continue practicing my angling skills.

Over the Labor Day weekend, my husband and I went camping and fishing at Lake Elmer Thomas which borders the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and Fort Sill just North of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Here is a photo of my 6 lb 6 oz bass I caught Sunday evening at about 10:30 p.m using a weightless Zoom fluke – Arkansas Shiner. I just had to make that “one last cast” and this is the result.
